However, the directive is often viewed as a purely HR project. In reality, it requires a cultural shift: away from mere compliance with legal requirements and toward a fruitful cultural change within companies. Removing the taboo surrounding salary must be integrated into the corporate culture – transparently, fairly, and openly.
